WELCOME TO MY "OTHER" BLOG!

If you are coming from Building Heavenly Bridges (BHB), WELCOME and if you are finding me for the first time and looking for support after a loss, then please check me out at my grief/loss blog!

This blog is a series of anecdotes from our life after losing our first child, a stillborn daughter, then going on to birth the two other lights of our lives!

Bear is 6: serious, organized, my cruise director and my time keeper.

The Comedian is 4: She is pure comedy always doing something unintentionaly funny that I attempt to put into words.

Enjoy our stories, conversations, and delights as we embrace the lives of our second and third daughters without ever negating our first.

Show and Tell: Christmas Update!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa came this year with a twinkle in his eye, a belly that wiggled like jelly and a moderate basket of gifts... Um...yes the white napkins are there. Shoot me - but it was just too cute a request! And - uh - stop looking at me like that, YES those are hand me down, bought for a few pennies at a yard sale barbies...but there are a FEW new things in that basket.

and a mildly repremanding scroll. (click HERE and scroll down to read his letter)

I cannot take credit for the eerie glow around the scroll. I guess Santa really meant business!!

The girls thought so too, and for 24 hours the spell held bringing with it calm words, kind hearts, lots of please's and thank you's and the sharing - Oh the sharing - it was enough to melt my heart and convince me that we have done something right on the rocky road called parenthood!

Oh - and here is a picture of my well-behaved family on Christmas.

Don't forget to see what angelic things others are showing and telling!

I can't tell from the photo -- did the Comedian make an extra-special Christmas eye patch?

Glad that everyone had a good Christmas.

LOL

So, did the white napkins get greeted with the same Christmas fervor as the Barbies?? :0)

I still think that is a total hoot.

The scroll was an AWESOME touch!

Ahh- but that is the best part about my sweet Comedian. Every gift - yes even the napkins - is met with a loud *gasp* and wide eyes (well - eye this year).

That girl really knows how to live in the moment.

So what has The Comedian done with her napkins? Are they for tea parties?
